The Takoma Collective is a group of Takoma Park based artists/creators/makers. Our mission is to provide opportunities for local small businesses & creators to work, to grow & to promote their craft.

 

We serve the community through events, education, and a collection of curated & diverse talent. We aim to bring together great design & community in thriving, vibrant spaces and to honor the tradition of local manufacturing & artistry.

Our first collective effort was to host the Market at The Bank series in the old Takoma Park Bank in the winter of 2022. This temporary reactivation of a 100-year-old, landmark building in the heart of downtown Takoma Park hosted over 70 vendors & drew almost 6,000 attendees!

In the spring of 2023, the collective hosted a set of pop-up markets in downtown Takoma Park on Laurel Ave in the heart of Takoma Park. See the Market on The Street page for more details and a list of vendors we had the pleasure of working with.
